I`ve had this camera for a while and as yet I can`t fault it.
It`s compact, light weight & looks pretty stylish.
It has a SD card slot for storing digital-still images wich can be taken whilst recording video( DV ) or in memory mode ( SD ).( recording video in memory mode ( SD ) is not available ).
It has a backlight for night recording & a remote control wich is handy when its on the tripod.
The zoom is fantastic 800X Digital & 35X Optical, Thats more than enough zoom for anyone !!
The menu is excellent & easy to navigate.
Overall its a great camera for the money i paid.
I would seriously recommend this camera, It`s a Excellent choice for somone new to videoing

this is un excellent camera 4 the money i paid.i bought this camera to substitute my old mini dv panasonic nv series..and as my panasonic had 2 remote controls and a backlight i didnt want nothing less.when u look for cameras with this options who r looking at spending over 300 hundred pounds untill i came across this jvc.its light,compact,fits perfecly in your hands,with remote control,and backlight to help film in the dark and u can use a sd memory card for photos only.(u cant record in memory card).
im very happy with the camera and i would advice to anyone who wants a good camcorder for an affordable price.
