This Camara has inpressed me so much. I also have a phllips dvd recorder and it is very easy. The LCD display is amazing. Bright Colour picture on it. It is very user friendly. And the zoom on the thing! totally breath taking. Sound is really really good too! Can't fault it anywhere!!!!

Excellent camcorder bought especially for hols in Phuket and Western Australia. Loads of functionality, picture clarity superb, especially impressed with night vision. Very simple to record directly to disc using my Phillips dvd recorder. Playback on widescreen telly was like being back on holiday, really marvellous. Not so impressed with still picture quality on memory stick but just about acceptable considering this isn't a stand alone still camera. Can't fault it though for it's core task - camcorder. I've loaned it to my brother in law for his holiday in Florida....I am very worried!!
