Great picture quality, editing can be tricky - 17 Nov 2007

When I got this camcorder and started shooting I thought it was great, until I got it onto the computer. You need a decent DVD ripper to get the video and it does not always capture all the video from the disc for some reason. The other dissapointing thing is this doesnt have a microphone slot for some strange reason. Also when you are filming something quiet like one person speaking it picks up a lot of noise from the disc whirring, so a microphone slot would definitely have been verrrry useful, but the picture quality is so good for such a small and cheap and camcorder the audio quality goes out the door.
