This is my first Micro MV Digital camcorder, and the first thing that struck me about the camera was its small size and extremely light weight. I recently took this camera on holliday and I only managed to use 2 60min MGR-60 tapes (only a little bigger than a large postage stamp) the sigle charge on the battery lasted the whole recording tiem and multiple playbacks - amazing. The Video & Audio pickup quality are unbelievably good and the user interface is superb. The inbuilt DSC is alright but even though this is the best DSC/DCR on the market i would use a seperate DSC for the majority of you pics (DSCV1 highly recommended) Both the nightsot and night framing features of this camera are good and produce some fun photos and videos. Sony's Movie shaker software that comes with the camera is pretty good but download the updates first. also makee sure your HDD is very large 1x 60min tape = just under 6gb.
