Just the thing for photographing acessory items for ebay. Fitted a Canon ixus camera perfectly. Well made, dinky and looks good too! Sony so good.

Compact, light, elegant, simple and functional. Contrary to one review, it does have instructions in English - they appear on the packaging itself, rather than on the accompanying leaflet - but instructions are largely superfluous anyway.

Well built, small & ideal for a compact but does not work too well for a full size DSLR.
Even when not extended I could not trust my D200 on it.

Bought this to go with my new Sony HandyCam. Sick of being the one standing holding the camera with aching arms as the kids open their presents at Christmas etc. Smaller than I thought but excellent for setting up almost anywhere. Camera screwed on to the base easily.The tripod tilted and swiveled and the legs set to different heights.
Feels like a quality product, weighs next to nothing and fits nicely into the camcorder bag without any problem.

I got one of these to use with both our "little" Olympus C765UZ and the slightly larger Canon EOS350D. It's very stable, extremely well made (it oozes quality) and at a shade over 14cm long when retracted, is pocket-sized. If you want a big tripod with panning head, don't buy this. If you want a handy little tripod to drop in a bag or your pocket when you go out walking that you can set up on a rock or a nearby wall, buy this.
